Rita Moreno, who plays Anitta in the 1961 film `West Side Story, and also received the award for Best Supporting Actress, cheers DeBose on for her achievement. “Your Anita paved the way for tons of Anitas like me,” says DeBose. The actress inspires viewers who are currently struggling with their identity by letting them know that there is indeed a place for them.

Will Smith Slaps Chris Rock in the Face!

Will Smith slapped Chris Rock in the face! Many can say this is the only part of the Oscars that they remember from the night. After Chris Rock made an insensitive joke, comparing Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, to G.I. Jane, Smith proceeds to get up from his chair, walk to the stage, and SLAP Chris Rock. I mean, wow! That was unprecedented. Jada recently revealed to her followers that she has suffered from alopecia for the past year, and as result, had to shave her head. Smith later proceeds to tell Rock to “Keep my wife’s name out of your f*cking mouth!” Before repeating it louder a second time. Rock and Smith had tensions with each other before the incident, revealing that it may have not been a publicity stunt.
